The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona is launching a new edition of the undergraduate thesis awards (TFG) for papers that, through their subject matter, contribute to social transformation. There are three award categories: one for theses with a gender perspective; another for those addressing topics related to sustainable development and global justice; and a third for those carried out using the service-learning methodology.

On May 26, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine hosted the VI UAB Service-Learning Day. Students Francisco Pablo Salvador, Aina Jiaqing Romero Solé, Paula Pallejà Gálvez, and Eva Baixauli Algaba won awards for the best Service-Learning Bachelor's Theses in their respective fields of knowledge.
