Laboratory of Quantitative Archaeology

Laboratory of Quantitative Archaeology (2021 SGR 00190).

The laboratory aims to promote the work carried out by professionals at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in the fields of quantitative and digital archaeology. It also serves as a core group and a platform supporting innovation in many directions: analysis of the shape, texture, and composition of archaeological data; statistics; artificial intelligence; archaeological data mining; spatial and temporal analysis; geographic information systems (GIS); database and ontology design; visualization, infographics, and virtual reality.
