Training supplements
In line with the Regulatory Text of the UAB Doctorate and the Internal Regulations of the Doctoral School, the Doctoral Academic Committee may establish specific training complements, depending on the student's previous training. In this sense, for those students who, having presented 300 ECTS credits, do not have the Master's Degree in Education Research (60 credits) included among them and, in addition, in their file it is verified that it does not include research and/or specialty credits, they must study during the first year between 15 and 30 credits of complementary training, to alleviate the deficiencies of their academic record.
The Doctorate in Education program provides that the complementary training credits be carried out within the Master's Degree in Research in Education, through the Research Methodology Modules in Education (up to 15 credits) or the Research Modules. Specialty (up to 18 credits) or the Initiation to Research and Final Master's Work (15 credits), depending on the need detected.
In the specific case of students who subscribe to the line of Research in Music and Voice Education, they will also be able to take additional training credits in the Master's Degree in Research in Musicology, Music Education, and Early Music Interpretation, with the same requirements of number of credits and type described for the rest of the students.
