The 4th edition of the WHO Laboratory Biosafety Manual has finally been published in late 2020, together with the seven supplemental monographs that cover the various technical and organizational topics of biosafety.
Lecturers Maria dels Àngels Calvo, Maite Martin and Natàlia Majó form part of the new One Health Committee, created by the Council of the Veterniarian Association of Catalonia (CCVC) as a consulting agency for zoonotic diseases.
The registration period for the Postgraduate Course "Strategies in Biosafety and Biocontainment" (9th edition) is open from 19 to 23 October. This course, organized by the Faculties of Biosciences and Veterinary Medicine, has the collaboration of IRTA-CReSA and CRAG and is preferably aimed at technicians, graduates and professionals in the biomedical, biotechnology, veterinary and agri-food sectors.
