EBSA Conference 2026 to bring together Europe’s biosafety community in Bruges
From 2 to 5 June 2026, Bruges will host a new edition of the EBSA Conference, featuring specialized courses and a scientific program focused on professional development in biosafety.
The European Biosafety Association (EBSA) will hold its annual conference from 2 to 5 June 2026 at the BMCC in Bruges. The programme will include two days of pre-conference courses and the main sessions on 4 and 5 June. The training activities will address key topics such as the management of BSL‑3 facilities, the practical implementation of biosafety measures, the role of the biosafety officer, and process safety in laboratories. Several courses have already reached full capacity, highlighting the growing demand for specialised training.
The poster call will remain open until 20 March 2026. Selected authors will present their work during the conference. Registration is still available in different formats, including a printed book and the official conference dinner. Super Early Bird and Early Bird rates will be available until 19 February and 18 March 2026, respectively.
This edition positions itself as an important opportunity to update knowledge, strengthen professional skills, and promote collaboration among biosafety specialists across Europe.
