SGIQ Processes
The SGIQ of the Faculty of Law is structured in processes.
This organization facilitates clearer, more efficient and more orderly management of all activities related to quality.
Each process corresponds to a set of specific tasks or functions (such as teaching, evaluation, coordination or administrative management) that allow the identification of responsibilities, resources and results in a precise way.
This process structure helps to detect problems or weaknesses, establish monitoring indicators and implement specific and coordinated improvement actions.
In addition, it encourages the active participation of all members of the university community, since it clarifies who does what and how the different parts of the system are connected.
The processes are classified into three types:
- Strategic processes, they deal with planning and decision making that guide the faculty towards its long-term objectives.
- Key Processes, include the main activities carried out by academic and administrative services, such as teaching or management of studies
- Support processes provide service to other processes, providing resources and conditions for everything to work correctly (for example, service management or the satisfaction of interest groups).
This system covers:
- the definition and monitoring of the school's teaching quality policy and objectives, in accordance with institutional strategic lines
- the definition and updating of the map of the centre's degrees
- the processes directly linked to the development of teaching (tutorship, evaluation, external internships, mobility, etc.)
- the evaluation processes and satisfaction of the different groups
- the processes most linked to the people and resources needed (teachers, administration and services staff, infrastructures and services, teaching programming, academic organization, etc...)
- and the processes linked to the monitoring (periodic monitoring) and modification (application of continuous improvement) of the degrees, which respond to the need to have, update and improve the map of degrees of the center
