Students OUT
The UAB takes part in mobility and exchange programs with some of the world’s top universities, particularly in Europe, the Americas, Asia, and several African countries. Around 1,400 students enjoy a study period abroad through these programs — an added value for more than 21% of UAB graduates.

Doing an international or national mobility stay is a unique opportunity to broaden academic and personal horizons, become familiar with other legal and social systems, improve language skills, and enrich one's professional CV.
Undergraduate students who have completed a minimum of 60 ECTS credits, as well as master’s and doctoral students, may apply for the different mobility programmes offered by the UAB. The three main programmes are the following:
Erasmus+
The Erasmus+ programme allows students to undertake an academic stay at a European university with which the UAB has an agreement. The stay may last one semester or a full academic year, and the courses taken at the host university can be academically recognised at the UAB through the Learning Agreement. It is a well-established option, with a wide range of destinations and a highly enriching academic and personal experience.

UAB Exchange Programme
The UAB Exchange Programme offers the possibility of completing an academic stay at universities outside Europe (such as in America, Asia or Oceania). This programme allows students to experience very different cultural and academic contexts and is especially recommended for students interested in a more global international experience.

SICUE
The SICUE programme allows students to undertake academic mobility within Spain, at universities that have an agreement with the UAB. It is an excellent option for getting to know other faculties and teaching approaches without leaving the Spanish university system, with guaranteed academic recognition.

Why take part in a mobility stay?
Students who participate in mobility programmes particularly highlight:
- personal growth and autonomy,
- improvement in language skills,
- adaptability and the ability to learn in new environments, and
- the positive impact on their future professional careers.
The Faculty of Law supports students throughout the entire process: from applying for a place, through preparing the Learning Agreement, to the academic recognition of the stay.
If you meet the requirements, we encourage you to find out more and take advantage of this opportunity. For many students, a mobility stay is one of the most valuable experiences of their university life.
