Finance and Budgets Committee
The Finance and Budgets Committee is the body that supervises the economic management of the Faculty and ensures that the resources and facilities of the centre remain in good condition and aim to improve the academic life of the university community.
Composition
According to article 16 of the Faculty's Ordinances, the following are part of the Finance and Budgets Committee:
- The Dean, who serves as Chair.
- The coordinators of all the Faculty’s degree programmes.
- The directors of the Faculty’s departments.
- One member of the Dean’s Office.
- One representative of the teaching staff and one representative of the predoctoral research staff who teach at the Faculty.
- The Faculty Administrator.
- The Academic Manager.
- The Head of the Social Sciences Library
- Three student representatives.
- One representative of the administrative and service staff.
- The Faculty Secretary, who acts as Secretary of the Committee.
Roles
The main roles of the Finance and Budgets Committee are:
- Approve budget projects, account closures and work projects that are then raised to the Faculty Board.
- Ensure the maintenance and improvement of the Faculty's facilities and services.
- Take on other tasks in your field delegated by the Faculty Board.
