Access to the DSC
The Document Supply Center of the Josep Laporte Library grants access to copies of articles from journals to users from outside the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), whether from our own collection or those of other libraries in Catalonia, Spain or abroad.
The Josep Laporte Library participates in several collective catalogues in the health sciences area:
- C17 Catálogo Colectivo de las Publicaciones Periódicas de las Bibliotecas de Ciencias de la Salud Españolas
- CNCS. RCS Catálogo Nacional de Ciencias de la Salud
- GTBIB. RCS Catálogo de Revistas en Ciencias de la Salud
The Josep Laporte Library is accredited as a DOCLINE centre of the National Library of Medicine (NLM) in the USA. We are the only library in Spain granted to supply articles from the NLM and therefore a reference centre for obtaining articles from abroad.
