Materials and Nanotechnologies Applications

The Materials and Nanotechnologies Applications International Track aims to give a broad overview of how materials, nanomaterials and bionanosystems are synthesized and used for medicine, food and environmental applications.

The Materials and Nanotechnologies Applications International Track aims to give a broad overview of how materials, nanomaterials and bionanosystems are synthesized and used for medicine, chemistry and environmental applications. 

  • Student profile 

This International Track (IT) is addressed to students from first year of a master programme related to the topic of the International Track. It is also addressed to students who have completed 180 ECTS or three years of bachelor’s degrees related to the field of Sciences. The final decision will be made by the academic coordinator of the programme.

Apart from the compulsory subjects of the Track, you can choose, optionally, to take an elective course from the list below. You can choose to do one or none.

The total amount of credits of the track is 24 ECTS. In case students want to take an elective course, which is not mandatory, you will earn a total of 30 ECTS. 

Timetable

In this document, you will find the timetable of each International Track, one in each sheet. In blue you will see the the mandatory subjects, whereas in different colors, the optative ones. Before enrolling, verify that the optional subject you want to take is compatible in terms of timetables with the compulsory subjects of the corresponding track. 

Mandatory subjects are still being addapted on the timetable. To be announced correctly. In this case, there are two mandatory subjects that are incompatible. We are working to make it compatible, so the timetable will be affected.  

“Research Internship” is not yet on the timetable, since we are working on its shedule. 

These timetables are based on the current timetables for the 2022-23 school year. Some subjects may be affected by changes for the 2023-22 academic year. The information will be updated.

Documentation 

You will need to collect and scan the following mandatory documentation to attach to the online application: 

  • For European Students an ID copy
  • For non-European Students a passport copy
  • Transcript of records
  • Health Insurance (must be presented in the arrival at the UAB)
  • English Language Certificate (except for native speakers)
