Statement from the UAB Governing Board
Following the events that have taken place today at an event organised by a group of students at the UAB, the Governing Team:

- Expresses its conviction that the campus must be an example of pacific coexistence and the exercise of freedom of expression, in which democratic ideas and demands have a place, as long as they are made with respect for all members of the community and public property.
- It rejects the tense situation experienced and regrets the ideological instrumentalisation of the university campus by certain political parties, which invisibilises the academic and research activity that the University carries out daily.
