Anahí Casadesús de Mingo has assumed since September the direction of Archival and Document Management (ESAGED UAB). After years as coordinator of the Master's Degree in Archival Studies and Information Governance taught at the FUAB Formació School, Casadesús takes over in the direction of Joan Pérez Ventayol, who last August closed his stage at the head of the ESAGED.

An extensive career linked to the world of archival studies

The new director has a master's degree in Archival Studies and Document Management and holds a PhD with a research focused on the management of documentary risks and the retention of public accounts. With several years of experience in consulting at national and international level, she has worked with both public and private organizations in the analysis of work processes, the evaluation and treatment of documentary risks and the standardization of different aspects of document management.

At international level, she is a member of the ISO International Technical Committee for Document and Archive Management (ISO/TC 46/SC 11), where she coordinated the working group on document risk management, and also participates in other groups linked to the development and revision of the ISO 30300 family of standards, the update of the ISO 15489 standard and other standards related to risk management.

Currently, Casadesús is also a professor at ESAGED, where she teaches, among others, documentary management systems, documentary analysis and ISO standards linked to information management. Her academic and research activity is also linked to projects on data governance, artificial intelligence and corruption prevention from the perspective of document management. With this trajectory, she assumes the direction of the ESAGED with the challenge of continuing to promote training, research and the projection of an increasingly strategic field for organizations.
