From 5 November to 19 January, the UAB Veterinary Library hosts a photography exhibition that invites us to look at nature from a new perspective: about thirty bird photographs captured through the practice of birdwatching, an activity that merges a passion for nature with scientific research.

From 13 November to 13 December, the Medical Library will host an exhibition exploring the boundaries between emotions and mental illness. The opening, which will take place on 13 November at 1 p.m., will feature the author, Montserrat Valentí, and Professor Lydia Giménez, who will give a talk entitled From Fragility to Resilience.

From 20 to 28 November, new edition of sessions of tabletop role-playing games, organized by the UAB Role Playing Club and the Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives and open to the entire university community.

In 2025, the centenary of the birth of Andrea Camilleri (Porto Empedocle, 1925 – Rome, 2019) is being commemorated. Camilleri was a writer who achieved great popularity and was recognized during his lifetime as a literary classic.

Vicenç Semper's camera recalls a part of the history of Vallès Occidental: the settlements on the banks of the Sec and Ripoll rivers.

On the occasion of Halloween, Sabadell University Library, with the collaboration of students from the UAB Sabadell Campus, has organized an activity open to the entire university community: an Escape Room set in the mystery of Mrs. Emilia’s library, an enigmatic librarian who has disappeared.

The Library, in collaboration with the Video Game Interest Group, reviews the teaching, research, and cross-curricular activities related to video games occurring on the UAB campus. 

The 1st UAB Open Science Day will take place on October 28, from 9:15 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in the Rectorate Auditorium.

From 16 to 31 October, theSocial Sciences Library is running an extraordinary campaign featuring biographies, memoirs, and studies of political and social figures who have helped shape our understanding of the past and present.

The collection, consisting of nearly 1,500 documents on archaeology, art, and history of the Americas, strengthens the university’s documentary heritage and highlights the career of the renowned researcher from Banyoles.
