Researchers linked to the UAB

DESCRIPTION
University-linked researchers (IVU) are people who carry out research work at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona to carry out research, development and innovation projects and for the transfer of knowledge and technology, through an agreement with universities, centers of research or other public or private entities (art. 62.1 of Law 1/2003, of February 19, on universities in Catalonia). Researchers linked to the university maintain the employment contract with the institution of origin, they must have a doctorate degree and are assigned to a department, a research institute, a study and research center or another research structure.
REQUEST
To begin processing an IVU the following documentation shall be submitted by email, duly signed:
- Application of the person who wants to be IVU in the UAB
- Document with the approval of the representative of the entity where the person who wants to be IVU is hired
- Document with the approval of the UAB director of the department or institute of destination
- Agreement proposal
RESOLUTION
The application for recognition of researchers linked to the university must have the agreement of the UAB Research Commission, which will be requested once we have the favorable report from the Research Contracts and Agreements Unit.
Once all the authorizations are available, the agreement will be signed by the legal representatives of the entities and interested persons and all of them, the destination department or Institute and the People Management Area will be informed, in order to to take the steps derived from the signing of the agreement.
