Exchange students from other faculties of the UAB

The Faculty of Political Sciences allows students from other faculties to enroll in some of its undergraduate level subjects, always upon availability.

Please note that our faculty has a very limited offer of subjects in Spanish and English, and the available spots are normally already filled with our faculty students, so it is very unlikely to offer these subjects to other faculties students. If there are no available spots in the application during the opening period, it means that students can not register in the subjects.

(!) REQUIREMENTS:

  • Incoming students must take at least the 50% of their subjects in their host faculty. The rest of the subjects can be selected from other UAB faculties, upon availability.
  • If available, students can register in Catalan subjects, and  a maximum of 2 subjects in English and 1 subject in Spanish per semester at our faculty.
  • Students are required to have a minimum level of B2 of English and B2 of Spanish (depending on the language of instruction of the requested subjects). If students want to register in both Spanish taught and English taught courses, they will have to submit both certificates. No Catalan certificate is required.

The certificates must be uploaded and previously validated in the application in order to select the subjects.

REGISTRATION:

The add and drop period for other faculties subjects normally opens about the second week once the semester has started. The timing responds to the needs of each faculty of close their own courses add drop during the first days of classes, and then each faculty opens their available spots to other centers.

If you are an incoming exchange student from another faculty of the UAB and you wish to enroll in our faculty subjects, you have to log in  the pre-enrolment application during the open period:
