UAB student's final project on suicide prevention in prison receives award from Catalan universities
UAB journalism student Mariona Montserrat Comellas was awarded one of the prizes for best final project (TFG) in the area of health promotion related to the SDGs by the Catalan Network of Healthy Universities, with a project on suicide prevention in the Quatre Camins prison. The final project consisted in recording a video based on the experiences and stories of prisoners who transmit a realistic and positive message.

The UAB Choir and Orchestra present the Christmas concert entitled "El so de la llum"
On Monday 18 December at 1:30 p.m., the Theatre Hall of the Plaça Cívica will host the traditional Christmas concert of the UAB, under the title "El so de la llum" [The Sound of Light], with performances by the Choir, the Chamber Choir and the University Orchestra.
Professor Joan Baptista Culla passes away
Joan Baptista Culla Clarà, retired professor of the Department of Modern and Early Modern History of the UAB, has left us. The ceremony will take place on 1 December at 11 am, at the Monastery of Sant Cugat del Vallès. The University extends its deepest condolences to his family and friends and to all those who knew and appreciated him, and shares the sadness felt by his passing.

The UAB to host 25th edition of the Drac Novell International Festival
The Advertising, Communication and Marketing Guild, with the collaboration of the UAB, is organising the 25th edition of the Drac Novell International Festival, which will take place in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Communication Studies on Thursday 23 November. The festival, which aims to award students presenting the best advertising campaigns, received almost 200 proposals this year. The event will also serve to present the winners of the José María Ricarte National Creativity Award.
