Emotional Self-Management and Social Skills course
The Emotional Self-Management and Social Skills course offers UAB students practical tools to identify and regulate emotions, manage stress, improve motivation and self-esteem, and develop teamwork and conflict-resolution skills.
The Emotional Self-Management and Social Skills course is focused on identifying emotions, understanding the importance of emotional regulation, and learning how to manage stress through everyday situations commonly faced by university students. In this course, we learn to recognize our emotions, identify stressors, and manage them more effectively. We will put into practice strategies to improve motivation and self-esteem. Likewise, in the second part of the course, you will learn how to work in teams and resolve conflicts that arise in relationships with others.
