Institutional accreditation
El Royal Decree 640/2021, of 27 July, on the creation, recognition and authorisation of universities and university centres, and institutional accreditation of university centres, establishes that the institutional accreditation of university centres:
- is the mechanism to guarantee the overall academic quality of the centre
- will involve the renewal of the accreditation of the official qualifications of the center
- has a validity of six years
- It is a prerequisite to have obtained the favorable certification of the implementation of the center's IQAs.
