Internal Quality Assurance System Faculty of Communication

The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) has developed an Internal Quality Assurance System (SGIQ_UAB) with the aim of reflecting the firm commitment to offer quality training programmes that include measures to ensure their continuous evaluation and improvement.

This quality management system has been designed in accordance with the guidelines of the AUDIT programme and the recommendations of the quality agencies AQU, ANECA, and ENQA.

The SGIQ of the Faculty of Communication is aligned with the commitment of the UAB and contributes to offering quality studies that guarantee the development of the competences, skills and aptitudes established in the different training programmes of the faculty, to comply with the fundamental objective of offering undergraduate and postgraduate scientific training based on the needs and expectations of its users.  and society in general, and which favours the insertion of its graduates into work.

On 23 November 2010, the SGIQ of the Faculty of Communication obtained a positive evaluation from the AQU, within the framework of the AUDIT programme (certificate).

Institutional accreditation

On 23 June 2022, the Ministry of Universities decided to grant institutional accreditation to the Faculty of Communication after the Quality Agency of the University System of Catalonia certified the centre's IQAS on 15 December 2021.
