Autònoma Actua cycle programming at the UAB Theatre


On 10 February the beginning of the “Autònoma Actua” cycle will take place at the UAB Theatre. During February and March, Tuesdays at 6 pm the UAB will be full of original music and theatre.  

The proposals, chosen on October by the “Autònoma Actua” commission will make a varied programming with songwriters and choral, music and theatre groups.

THE BLUE, THE BLOND AND THE AUBURN
Laia Leal (singer), Dani Díaz (guitarist and singer) and David Pérez (guitarist)

Soul and folk music band with two guitars and two voices covering all-time songs.


Tuesday 17 February at 6 pm

QUARTET MÈLT
Magalí Sare (soprano), Ariadna Olivé (contralto), Eloi Fort (tenor) and Oriol Quintana (baritone)


Mixed vocal quartet a cappella working on varied pieces from different times and styles aiming to spread the history of the music among the audience in an entertaining way.

JAMA QUARTET
Joan Campo (violin), Arnau Rosell (violoncello), Maria Alejandra Roca (violin) and Anna Godoy (viola).

String group dedicated to the interpretation of pieces from different styles, trying to reach the common features and upraising the main qualities, always aiming to reach a diverse audience.

New musical project of choral singing that aims to offer a different experience, mix it with choreographies and work with modern melodies.

CARMEN RODRÍGUEZ AND AVANTGARDE ONE

Carmen Rodríguez has a style that combines pop with a sample of world music. Avantgarde One, Jaime Rodríguez-Guerra, percussion acoustic singer, will offer a special vision of songwriter music.
