Objectives

The purpose of this minor is to provide basic training in Galician language and literature, with specific attention on its history, culture and language, and offering a contrastive vision in relation to other languages and cultures of the Iberian Peninsula, as well as to help students acquire linguistic, literary, historical and cultural skills and competences with the aim of being efficiently prepared to confront professional and academic environments (institutional, commercial, etc.) in which Galician is essential and indispensable.
