Open registrations for second semester of the Mentor

Do you want to meet students from other countries and at the same time practice languages? Then Mentor is your programme. Registration for the second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year is open until 12 December.

The Mentor programme aims to facilitate the arrival and stay of international students at the UAB through interaction and networking with local students. The mentor serves as a companion to students from other countries in their integration into the social, cultural and academic world of the university, and, at the same time, mentors get a positive experience of cultural exchange and can also practice languages.

Students who want to mentor during the first semester of the 2018/2019 academic year can sign up through the website of the Community Involvement Unit until 12 December 2018. However, local students must be enrolled in a UAB degree and have completed at least their first year, and there must be international students in their faculty who have asked for a mentor. This activity is recognised with 2 ECTS for the first semester and a total of 3 ECTS for both semesters.
