This second semester is unusual for all the UAB community. Delegates are one of  the groups of students who are living in this situation with a special intensity. They are one of the strongest links that currently exists between the students and the university. For this reason, Dinamització Comunitària unit has maintained the support that always gives to them, now in a remote way.

The delegates benefit from a yearly stable and classroom-based training program that has been affected by the health emergency and the establishment of online teaching. Thus, the training sessions scheduled for the second semester have been modified due to this situation. So, Dinamització Communitaria has offered alternative remote training sessions or has adapted some of them to the circumstances as far as possible.

During the second half of April,  a questionnaire on the elections for rector was offered, which now will be reedited given the high demand from the delegates side. From May 18th through June 7th, the questionnaire will be available again on the Delegate’s Moodle.

During April and May, two activities were proposed to carry out remotely and to keep in touch with other university students. The delegates can register to the online Tadem and practice foreign languages by meeting UAB international students. Moreover they can participate in the activities that the student societies registred in elDirectori have been suggesting during theses lockdown days and that they can find in the Blog of elDirectori.

The last training session of the year is the one on the evaluation. This year, and due to the relevance of this session, it has been adapted to be done remotely. From May 25th through 29th, delegates can evaluate different aspects of the academic year, suggest improvements, and compare experiences with other peers. All the information on the new remote session can be found at Delegate’s Moodle. Concrete doubts can be ask by emailing elcens.participacio@uab.cat.

Besides that, delegates can send by email their experiences performing their duties during the lockdown. Subsequently it will be published on Dinamització Comunitària’s Twitter profile to make the delegate’s contribution known.
