Electoral campaign for CEUAB’s Executive Committee elections begins

Electoral campaign for UAB’s Student Council Executive Committee elections has just started. On 30 November, final candidacies were published and now, from 1 to 9 December, the electoral campaign will take place. Electronic voting will take place during days 10, 11 and 12 December.

Students can find final candidacies for elections to the Executive Committee of Consell d’Estudiants de la UAB (CEUAB) published in the Dinamització Comunitària’s website, where they can also find the electoral calendar. Now, from 1 to 9 December, the electoral campaign will take place. Electronic voting will take place during days 10, 11 and 12 December.

The period for elections of this academic year 2018/19 for the Executive Committee in the maximum student representative body in university, CEUAB, started on 12 November. Candidacies were submitted between 13 and 22 November and were published in the website on 26 November. Electronic vote, only open to Plenary members of CEUAB, will take place on 10, 11 and 12 December. Final results will be published on 15 December.

The CEUAB was constituted on May 25th, 2012 and is made up of 59 students from different faculties. The main objective of this is to get the voice of students in the governing bodies of the university, guaranteeing the rights of students. The Council consists of two bodies: the Plenary and the Executive Committee. The Plenary is where debates are held and decisions are made. Each faculty is represented by 4 students who are elected by the Student Council of each center. Once a year, the Plenary elects the Executive Committee, which is the executive body of the decisions of the Plenary.
