IRE-UAB brings on Adrián Lorenz as the Institute's communication intern
Adrián Lorenz, 22, and a third-year Journalism student at UAB, has joined the IRE team to manage digital communication. Passionate about sports communication, he has been highlighting the center's research since last January.

The Institute for Sports Research UAB counts on Adrián’s support to strengthen the dissemination of its scientific activity through digital channels and social media. This internship represents an opportunity for him to apply his knowledge in a real-world setting and learn how information management works in a top-level institution, combining academic studies with professional practice.
Within his regular duties, Adrián is responsible for writing news for the website, conducting interviews, and managing the Institute's LinkedIn and Instagram profiles. Through his work, the center aims to centralize communication requests from researchers and ensure that the institution's scientific production reaches the entire community clearly and directly.
This collaboration has allowed for a more consistent publishing routine and better organization of digital content since the beginning of the year. Through his management, IRE continues to work towards establishing itself as a reference space where sports science and communication go hand in hand to provide visibility to the excellence in research carried out at UAB
