1st Term 2026/2027
Thank you for choosing our university to have one of the most enriching experiences of your academic career. During the first few days of your stay, as well as getting to know the faculty where you will be studying, we want you to have the opportunity to get to know UAB a little better.
The International Welcome Days will allow you to discover the campus, get to know our language and, above all, meet other international students who, like you, are coming to UAB from all over the world, as well as UAB students with whom you will share experiences, activities and good times throughout the academic year.
We have a week full of activities planned for you. Come and take part!
In the firstTerm of the year 2025/2026 the Welcome Days will take place from 7th to the 10th September.

Monday, September 7
3 p.m. Institutional Welcome, at the Conference room.
Start your UAB experience by getting to know the university and kick off an unforgettable journey! Limited capacity.
Tuesday, September 8
12 p.m. Catalan from Scratch Workshop, presented by the UAB Language Services, in the multipurpose room of the l'Àgora building.
Learn your first Catalan words in a fun way and get ready to immerse yourself even more in the local culture.
1:30 p.m. UAB Cultural Programming!, in the Theater Room.
Discover all the cultural activities that await you during the semester and find the ones that inspire you the most.
4 p.m. Meet the Erasmus Student Network, in the Cinema Room.
Make new friends, discover activities with other international students, and connect with the Erasmus community from day one.
Wednesday, September 9
1 p.m. Speed Tandem, in the study hall at Plaça Cívica, first floor.
Meet university students in a dynamic and fun activity to make new friends and expand your university network.
3 p.m. Let's get active at UAB: Bodypump session at the Physical Activity Service (SAF).
Get active, have fun and meet other students while enjoying an energetic workout.
Thursday, 10 September
1 p.m. International lunch, hosted by ESN, in the study room at Plaça Cívica.
Bring a typical dish from your home country, share the flavours of your culture and discover the culinary traditions of students from all over the world.
