Communication, Security and Computer Systems

This itinerary offers an introduction to the fundamentals of key computer technologies through an overview of how computer systems are designed, connected and protected.

The track is aimed at students of bachelor's degrees in Computer Engineering or similar.

Academic Coordination: Management of the Engineering School

Places offer: Every year, 5 new places are offered on this International Track.

Students should have passed basic mathematic courses (algebra and calculus) and introduction to programming subjects, preferebly Python. The final decision will be made by the academic coordinator of the programme.

Selection criteria
The academic coordination will assess the candidates according to the admission requirements, taking into account the documentation delivered and the adequacy and qualifications of the academic transcript. 
The academic coordination of the IT will resolve the applications for admission.      
Price: The price of the IT credit will be that set by the UAB Social Council for Visiting Students. 
Implementation course: The UAB will offer this IT from the 2026/27 course.
