Artificial Intelligence

The Artificial Intelligence (2nd Semester) International Track gives you the chance to study advanced techniques to develop machines which are able to learn and adapt through experience. These systems enable intelligence decision making, based on data.

Teaching period: 2nd semester (8/2/2027 – 2/07/2027)

The International Track of Artificial Intelligence gives the opportunity to study techniques advanced to develop machines that are capable of learning and adapting to through experience. These systems allow decision making intelligence based on data.

The track is aimed at students coming from other universities of degrees in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Engineering or similar. Students must have taken basic courses in mathematics (algebra and calculus) and introduction to programming themes, preferably Python.

Academic Coordination: Cristina Fernández, Director of Students and Mobility of the Engineering School.

Places offer: Every year, 5 new places are offered on this International Track.

Requirements 

Students whose native language is not English must prove that they have the level C1 (Common European Framework of Reference).

Students must have taken basic courses in mathematics (algebra and calculus) and introduction to programming themes, preferably Python. The academic coordination of the IT will resolve the applications for admission.

Selection criteria
The academic coordination will assess the candidates according to the admission requirements, taking into account the documentation delivered and the adequacy and qualifications of the academic transcript.

Price: The price of the IT credit will be that set by the UAB Social Council for Visiting Students. 
Implementation course: The UAB will offer this IT programme starting in the 2026/27 academic year.
