Artificial Intelligence

The Artificial Intelligence International Track gives you the chance to study advanced techniques to develop machines which are able to learn and adapt through experience. These systems enable intelligence decision making, based on data.

Teaching period: 2nd semester (8/2/2027 – 2/07/2027)

 

This itinerary introduces the study of Artificial Intelligence from a solid base, emphasizing the fundamentals of machine learning and computer vision, as well as its application to intelligent robotics. It allows us to understand how machines can perceive, learn and interact with the world around them.

The track is aimed at students of degrees in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Engineering or similar.

Academic Coordination: Management of the Engineering School

Places offer: Every year, 5 new places are offered on this International Track.

Requirements 

Students should have passed basic mathematic courses (algebra and calculus) and introduction to programming subjects, preferebly Python. The final decision will be made by the academic coordinator of the programme.

Selection criteria
The academic coordination will assess the candidates according to the admission requirements, taking into account the documentation delivered and the adequacy and qualifications of the academic transcript. 
The academic coordination of the IT will resolve the applications for admission.      
Price: The price of the IT credit will be that set by the UAB Social Council for Visiting Students. 
Implementation course: The UAB will offer this IT programme starting in the 2026/27 academic year.
