Did you ever think about the inequalities in our societies and the ways there are to change them? Do not hesitate and do it by joining a volunteering programme in UAB. The experience will be meaningful, both personally and professionally.
 
Fundació Autònoma Solidària (FAS) opens a new call for volunteers for their different social action programmes.
 

• Socio-educative programmes:
  • CROMA 2.0, which is aimed at keeping company with children in situation of social vulnerability. We need 10 volunteers for educative workshops in schools. 
  • Let’s Go, in which volunteers with a high level of the English language will give workshops in schools in Badia del Vallès for children to have the opportunity to learn this language. We need 15 volunteers for this programme.
• Penitenciari programmes:
• Justice programme. 30 spots to volunteer in prisons and improve integration and social reintegration of people deprived from freedom. Students should have their own vehicle in order to drive to adult centre ‘Brians’ (Sant Esteve Sesrovires) and Quatre Camins (la Roca del Vallès).
• Centre Fòrum de l’Hospital del Mar (Barcelona).  15 volunteers are needed to keep company with users who suffer dementia or are in rehab processes.
• Action group – Sheltering refugees: available spots for students who will learn more about the inner causes of displacement and migration through awareness on mobilization actions and will encourage defense of refuge-seekers rights.
• Socio-sanitary programmes:
  • Centre Fòrum de l’Hospital del Mar (Barcelona).  15 volunteers are needed to keep company with users who suffer dementia or are in rehab processes.

• Social programmes:
  • Action group – Sheltering refugees: available spots for students who will learn more about the inner causes of displacement and migration through awareness on mobilization actions and will encourage defense of refuge-seekers rights.

There are also available spots for the Health programme, which organizes awareness activities about substance consumption and sexuality; and also for the Environmental programme, in whose volunteers contribute in building a university more committed to its surroundings through promotion of environmental education on campus.
