The social action programs of the FAS seek students to join the different volunteering programs:

The socio-educational area calls on volunteers for its different programs. On the one hand, the socio-educational mentoring program is looking for volunteers to support students from 1st and 2nd year of high school in situations of social vulnerability and disaffection, studying in the center of Cerdanyola del Vallès. On the other hand, CROMA 2.0 is looking for people with an interest to promote educational workshops in schools. Also, Let's Talk! seeks volunteers to carry out activities to improve English skills in high schools. And finally, a new program has been developed, the linguistic-intercultural, where a volunteering group will support families with limited linguistic competence in Catalan or Spanish. In this space, volunteers will participate in a multilevel, intercultural, multilingual and intergenerational learning project.

From the Welcome Refugee Programme they are also looking for people to join the Hortaula project and the social mentoring project. The Hortaula is a participatory activity where volunteers organize group and awareness activities in order to promote spaces for coexistence and bonding with migrated youth. In this case, young people seeking refuge and UAB students are in the Hortaula of the Faculty of Education with the aim of exchanging experiences, learning and taking care of the land together.

The Justice Program needs volunteers with their own vehicle to travel to prisons. This prison volunteering organizes physical-sports, cultural and artistic activities for people deprived of liberty in CP Brians I and II and in CP Quatre Camins.

In addition, it has recently been possible to continue the activity at the Vall d'Hebron Hospital. The volunteers who join the Social Health Program will organize activities of accompaniment and support to children and their families.

Volunteering is a unique experience that any UAB student can enjoy and learn from. All people who join will receive training and recognition for participation and, in some cases, also the possibility of obtaining academic credits.
