The Social Sciences Library wanted to pay tribute in the form of a virtual and face-to-face exhibition to Professor Arcadi Oliveres, from the Department of Applied Economics at the UAB, Faculty of Economics and Business Studies, who died this April 2021.
On 22 April between 10:30 and 13:00, teachers, students and PAS of different UAB centres will make a continuous reading in the Auditorium of what is considered the first story of western literature: "Psyche and Cupid" by Apuleius (2nd century AD). The rector will start the reading at 10:30h.
A total of 9,954 people participated in the health screenings organised by the Catalan Ministry for Health from 8 to 15 April on the UAB Bellaterra and Sabadell campuses.
The adversities of the current situation have not been able to stop the celebration of the UAB Floral Games, which this year had more than 300 proposals. The UAB is promoting the use of bicycles as a means of transport between the university campus and surrounding towns. In September work will begin to construct a bicycle lane connecting Badia del Vallès and the campus, and more lanes will be built from Sabadell and, in the future, from Cerdanyola.
