High risk of forest fires

The UAB Prevention and Assistance Area has announced a set of recommendations to prevent forest fires addressed to all those visiting or passing through the woods and greenland surrounding the campus.

Natalia Sánchez receives an award from the L'Oréal-Unesco "For Women in Science" programme

A research by Natalia Sánchez from the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the UAB was granted an award by the L'Oréal-UNESCO "For Women in Science" programme, which every year awards the most trailblazing projects conducted by five researchers aged under 40. The awardees, who this year all belong to the life sciences' sector, receive a cash prize of 15,000 euros and have the mission to make femal leadership in science more visible.

Personalised Precision Medicine at the centre of a seminar addressed to university students

The UAB, the Vall d’Hebron Cancer Institute (VHIO) and the Instituto Roche Foundation have jointly organised a seminar entitled “Personalised Precision Medicine, from Theory to Practice”, addressed to university students from the health sciences sector. Attendance is free, but you must sign up first. The seminar will take place from 27 to 29 September at the VHIO's Centre Cellex. Registration now open.
