The UAB Doctoral School hosts the session "What can I do after my PhD?"

The session "What can I do after my PhD?" will be held next Wednesday 18th June in the Doctoral School (Sala Carles Perelló). This session is aimed at enlightening doctoral students in their last years about the next steps they can take to foster their careers.

The final of the "Thesis in 4 Minutes" competition, in which PhD students present their thesis during a maximum of four minutes, will take place on 8 May at 12 noon at the Doctoral School. The event will be streamed live on the UAB's YouTube channel.

Student María Paola Ayala wins Crue #HiloTesis contest

Student of the PhD programme in Geography at the UAB María Paola Ayala Godoy has won the #HiloTesis contest and will receive a cash prize of 500 euros. Crue Universidades Españolas has awarded 5 other prizes to students.

Gala Pujol Infantes, student of the PhD programme in Cell Biology, won first prize in this year's UAB "Thesis in 4 Minutes" competition. The award comes with a cash prize of 800 euros and the chance to represent the UAB at the final competition, organised by the Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation, which will be held on 27 June in Tarragona. She explained her thesis with a presentation entitled "How to change the world with a paper straw".
