The School for Doctoral Studies celebrates the International Day of Women and Girls in Science
Colloquim to celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science
The School for Doctoral Studies commemorates the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, which aims to highlight the presence and contributions of women in the scientific community. It also seeks to encourage reflection on equal opportunities and the promotion of a diverse and inclusive scientific community.
To celebrate the occasion, on the 11th of February, the School for Doctoral Studies is organising a colloquium that will reflect on the presence and role of women in research fields. Two researchers who completed their doctorates within our programs will take part: Iris Parra, PhD in Philosophy, and Cristina Madrid, PhD in Cell Biology will participate in the discussion. The session will be conducted by Beatriz Ferrús, director of the School for Doctoral Studies.
The activity will take place at 9.30 am at room Carles Perelló (School for Doctoral Studies) and is open to anybody interested in this topic.
