As part of the activities of the UAB's Healthy and Sustainable Campus, the university held on 7 October a webinar dedicated to exposing the main challenges on suicide prevention amongst young people. Participating were two experts from the Parc Taulí Hospital, and a representative of the association of suicide survivors, entitled "Després del Suïcidi: Associació de Supervivents", who set the bases for the work to be done on campus related to epidemiological knowledge, stigma and prevention.

As a result, this first session on 16 November aims to design prevention actions that can be put into practice at the UAB. This participative seminar will be open to the whole of the university community, as well as to local entities and institutions.

It aims to be a laboratory of ideas which will take place at the Living Lab of Mental Health, coordinated by the CORE in Mental Health at the UAB Open Labs, although on this occasion the attendants will be connecting online. Thanks to the collaboration of the UAB Research Park, the seminar will be using the design thinking methodology, with the aim of defining and choosing actions to be implemented on campus.

Those interested in participating can send an ee-mail to: core.salut.mental@uab.cat. The session will be offered online using the Teams platform.
