The UAB reaches position 186 among the world's top universities according to CWUR

The UAB rises 10 points and reaches position 186 in the latest edition of the CWUR World University Rankings, which takes into account the prestige of its graduates and lecturers, as well as the scientific impact of the university.

The tenth edition of the CWUR World University Rankings 2021-2022 by the CWUR consulting organisation places the UAB in the 186th position worldwide (up 10 points from last year's ranking), while also ranking 74th in Europe (moving up 3 positions) and maintaining its second position among universities in Spain.

With regard to indicators, the UAB stands out in the set of Research Quality indicators, reaching position 130 and moving up 10 points from last year's edition.

The CWUR ranking analyses some 20,000 universities from around the world, and classifies the top 2,000 by awarding points according to the following indicators and values: quality of education (25%), alumni employment (25%), quality of faculty (10%) and research performance (40%).

The Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) is a consulting organisation providing services to governments and universities to improve educational and research outcomes. Its headquarters is located in the United Arab Emirates.
