03/05/2019
As part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships of the Horizon 2020 programme, in September 2019 the UAB will be welcoming eight researchers from the United States, Colombia, Italy, the United Kingdom, Poland and Spain to develop research projects in the fields of anthropology, environmental sciences, philology, physics, language teaching and geography. Never before had the UAB been awarded with so many Individual Fellowship projects.
Of the eight projects awarded, 7 belong to the European Fellowship sub-type, in which researchers will spend a two-year stay in Europe and at the UAB. The other project belongs to the Global Fellowship sub-type, in which the researcher will spend two years doing research in the USA, and her third year at the UAB.
The objective of this call is to fund the mobility of post-PhD researchers interested in spending three years abroad. All candidates must fulfil the mobility requirement: not have lived in the destination country more than twelve months in the past three years on th deadline of the call.
The call for new projects is now open. All documents which need to be submitted can be consulted at the EC website. An information session will be offered on 14 May in Barcelona, organised by the programm'es National Contact Points. More information on the session and the registration form can be found here. All UAB researchers and research groups interested in submitting their application can publish their offer as a host institution on the Euraxess website following the instructions found on this link.
