Take part in the FM UAB 2019 Poster Design Contest!

As every year, UAB proposed a new slogan for the upcoming edition of the Festa Major de la UAB and opened a contest to choose the poster that will become the image of the event. This year, the chosen slogan for the FMUAB19 is “UAB against climate change”.

On 21 May, UAB supported the Climate Emergency Declaration that was initially suggested by the UAB Ecologist Assembly, who wrote a letter addressed to the whole UAB community. UAB aimed to place the climate crisis as a hot topic in the university activity programme by announcing “UAB against climate change” as the slogan chosen for the Festa Major 2019 and for the 2019/2020 activities programme.

Now that the slogan is chosen, a period for presenting poster proposals in our traditional poster contest will be open until 15 September 2019. The contest will be addressed to the UAB staff and students enrolled in any UAB center or the university’s Alumni. Each participant can present up to two poster proposals, either individually or in groups. Requirements for this contest are detailed in the contest’s conditions.

All the proposals will be uploaded on the FM UAB Facebook page where people will choose their three favourites by popular vote. Those three will be assessed by a jury (that will be able to add more proposals as finalists) to choose the winner. The winning author will receive a prize of 300€ and that design will be used for diffusion and documentation of the FMUAB19. Resolution with the winner will be made public in the Viure el campus website during the month of October.
