The Official MA in Audiovisual Translation from the Department of Translation, Interpreting and East Asian Studies at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona offers a varied and complete curricula about audiovisual translation and media accessibility, including modalities such as dubbing, subtitling, subtitling for the deaf and hard-of-hearing, respeaking, audio description, multimedia translation and game localisation.

The MA is the result of the combination of two previous MAs, a face-to-face one and an online one, which were offered at UAB since 2001. The MA is now offered in two modalities, the online and the face-to-face one.

The main career paths for graduates include working for specialised agencies and language service providers, as well as working as a self-employed translator.
