Language-level tests for English and other languages for third-year students of UAB bachelor’s degrees
Knowledge of a foreign language is increasingly necessary both in the ambit of employment and for academic mobility and exchanges. For this reason, now that you’re in the third year of your bachelor’s degree studies, the UAB is offering you a free online language test to help you determine what your current level really is. These tests are available for English, French, German and Italian. This year, these tests are being carried out in all of the Catalan public universities.

The UAB has sent out an e-mail with instructions on how to take the test to all of its third-year students who began their bachelor’s degree in the 2014-2015 academic year.
The English test lasts approximately25 minutes and has two parts. The first exercise (the so-called C-tests) requires you to complete four short texts containing 25 words that are missing certain letters. The second exercise has a series of multiple-choice questions to evaluate your knowledge of grammar, vocabulary and use of language in specific contexts.
The test for German, French and Italian consists of 100 multiple-choice questions; it last approximately 45minutes.
