Cinema : criticism, philosophy, aesthetics

Bibliographic exhibition of the Communication Library and Newspaper Archive.

The Communication Library and General Newspaper Archive presents, during the summer period, the exhibition Cinema : criticism, philosophy, aesthetics. The exhibition is formed by monographies, specialized journals and DVD about the heoretical aspects of the cinematographic arts.

Authors like J. Aumont, D. Bordwell, F. Casetti, M. Cousins, G. Deleuze, S.M. Eisenstein, J.L. Godard, R.Gubern, S. Kracauer, C. Metz, J. Mitry, S. Zunzunegui are represented offering that way a taste of the Library collections, one of the most important in Catalonia, in par with the ones at the Generalitat Film Archive.

The exhibition can be found at the lobby of the Communication Library since June 30th. A list of the documents showed can be requested via the Pregunt@ service.
