CRiEDO Awards highlight the Escoles Garbí Foundation and Maria Rosa Fillat's final degree project

The CRiEDO Awards went to the educational innovation and research of the Fundació Escoles Garbí and the Final Degree Project of Maria Rosa Fillat Salvador. The awards were given in the Fourth CRiEDO Conference, which took place on 19 November at the Faculty of Education. Two secondary awards were also given to the Fundació Xalest and the Final Degree Project of Pablo Lermanda.

In this edition, the CRiEDO (Centre for Research and Studies for Organisational Development) Award for Innovation and Development of Educational and Training Institutions went to the Fundació Escoles Garbí, which stands out for its more than sixty years of pedagogical experience, commitment and its capacity for innovation. Likewise, a secondary prize was awarded to the Fundació Xalest for its work in special education, inclusion and continuous improvement in more than thirty years of existence.

The CRiEDO Award for Final Degree Project went to Maria Rosa Fillat Salvador, for her final master's thesis entitled "Les converses significatives entre docents per a l’aprenentatge informal i organitzatiu" [Significant conversations between teachers for informal and organisational learning], which was directed by lecturer Anna Díaz from the Department of Applied Pedagogy at the UAB. A secondary prize was also awarded to Pablo Lermanda Vidal for his final master's thesis "Las actuaciones del Departamento de Administración de Educación Municipal: Análisis de facilitadores y barreras en el caso de la comuna de Cunco (Chile)" [The actions of the Department of Municipal Education Administration: Analysis of facilitators and barriers in the case of the commune of Cunco (Chile)], which was directed by lecturer José Luís Muñoz, also from the Department of Applied Pedagogy at the UAB.

With these awards, the Centre for Research and Studies for Organisational Development (CRiEDO) reinforces its commitment to educational innovation and research, and highlights initiatives that promote the quality and transformation of teaching and learning processes.

The Fourth CRiEDO Conference brought together professionals and educational institutions on 19 November to reflect on early school leaving in vocational training, and guidance was highlighted as a key element in ensuring access and educational success. The meeting has become an important space for sharing experiences and promoting strategies for organisational and pedagogical improvement.
