Some 30 activities will be offered during the 14th edition of the UAB's Health and Sustainability Week, taking place from 22 to 26 April 2024, which for the second time will also include the spring edition of La Comunitària (Tuesday 23 April). The full programme is available here.

La Comunitària de primavera

The Health and Sustainability Week at the UAB will open on Monday 22 April with the conference "It's OK not to be OK", by Jordi Fernández, professor of the Department of Basic, Developmental and Educational Psychology at the UAB, and will close on Friday 26 April with the conference "Between nature and society: droughts as a socio-environmental phenomenon", by David Saurí, professor of the Department of Geography at the UAB.

There will be three exhibitions during the week (art and exclusion, ecodesign awards of Catalonia, and climate emergency) and a workshop on repairing household appliances.

During the week of 22-26 April, some thirty activities will take place, from physical activities (yoga, tai chi, combat, zumba and walks), to workshops on how to sleep better, how to make the most of cooking, how to improve life without dying, or how to have a critical sense when using social networks, to conferences and talks on how to incorporate physical activity into daily life, energy markets and the co-creation of service-learning projects.

On Thursday 25 April, the Entities Fair will be open to everyone, with snacks available and organised by the Service Learning Office of the Fundació Autònoma Solidària. It will take place in front of the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting, with stands of third sector organisations and cooperatives.

La Comunitària, on 23 April

As part of Health and Sustainability Week, the spring edition of La Comunitària will be held on Tuesday 23 April, from 12 noon to 4 p.m. at the Plaça Cívica, and will coincide with the UAB's Sant Jordi celebrations.

In front of the General Newspaper Archives, a space will be set up to represent the diversity of the university's associative network and campus services. As in last year's edition, a high participation of the UAB community is expected, especially from all students.
