The presentation of the exhibition, which includes art samples displayed around the UAB campus, took place on 19 June and was presented by Jaume Vidal, professor of Art History and coordinator of the exhibition; Núria Llorens, coordinator of the master's degree in Analysis and Management of Artistic Heritage; and Carlos Sánchez, Vice Rector for Institutional Relations and Culture.

The presentation began with a few words from Jaume Vidal, professor of Art History and coordinator of the exhibition, who showed his appreciation for the "opportunity" to organise such an exhibition, both for the lecturers and students.

Núria Llorens, coordinator of the master's degree in Analysis and Management of Artistic Heritage, highlighted the fact that even if students had already organised several types of exhibitions before, this one presented an additional "difficulty" since all of the pieces were very different from one another. She praised her students for their ability to construct the artistic discourse of the exhibition.

The presentation continued with a few words by Vice Rector Carlos Sánchez, who pointed out the importance of the UAB's art collection and mentioned the idea of organising a tour around the different areas in which these art pieces are displayed in order "to make them better known" among the university community.

Finally, several master's degree students offered guided tours of the different art pieces on exhibit and explained each piece in detail.

The exhibition includes five sections in which works from renowned Catalan artists such as Perejaume, Robert Llimós and Josep María Subirachs are placed in coexistence with other works which may have gone unnoticed throughout these years, due either to the anonymity of the artist, the way the art piece arrived to the UAB and/or for its dubious quality as a piece of art.

The exhibition, which forms part of the UAB's 50 years celebrations, can be visited until 20 July and again from 3 to 21 September at the Exhibitions Hall of the Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives.
