Postgraduate student Júlia Chaves Pereira begins her internship at CEO-UAB

Júlia Chaves is in charge of managing social media and communication for CEO-UAB.

Júlia Chaves Pereira has joined the Olympic Studies Centre (CEO-UAB), within the framework of IRE-UAB, to manage and update the institution's digital platforms. Her main function is the coordination of the official LinkedIn and Instagram accounts, where she is responsible for disseminating the directorate's activities, as well as key updates and initiatives of the research centre.

Before arriving at the UAB Olympic Studies Centre, Júlia had accumulated international experience in the Olympic field. She is a master's student at the International Olympic Academy (IOA) and has served as a volunteer coordinator in sessions for young ambassadors in Greece. She has also participated in the organization and protocol of large-scale events, such as the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games and the Brazil Olympic Award.

In addition to her management role, she holds a degree in Physical Education and experience as a volleyball coach. Her profile combines sports practice with the socio-cultural study of the Olympic Movement, which allows her to translate the values of Olympism into the digital communication strategy she is currently developing at CEO-UAB.
