Miquel presented the results of his longitudinal research on migration and football, strengthening the ties of scientific cooperation between Spain, Canada, and Latin America.

Within the framework of the International Conference on Qualitative Research in Sport and Exercise (QRSE), held for the first time in Latin America, Dr. Miquel Torregrossa played a prominent role as a member of the organizing committee and keynote speaker. During the session held at UNIACC University, the Professor from the Department of Basic, Developmental, and Educational Psychology and member of the Research Group in Sport Psychology (GEPE) at UAB delivered the keynote lecture titled 'Qualitative Research in Sport Psychology: Gaze, Process, and Results', where he analyzed current methodological challenges in the field.

Beyond his theoretical contribution, Torregrossa participated at an international discussion group alongside other academic figures, such as Dr. Yara M. Carvalho from the University of São Paulo. These sessions featured work stemming from international doctoral collaborations, notably the longitudinal study 'Impact of migration on the lives of young Uruguayan footballers', developed in conjunction with researcher Flavia Vique. This research provides a profound insight into the transition and adaptation processes of athletes within migratory contexts.
