The involvement of IRE-UAB researchers at the FEPSAC congress reinforces UAB's international presence in European sport psychology.

The Sports Research Institute (IRE-UAB) played a prominent role in the 18th FEPSAC European Congress of Sport and Exercise Psychology, held in Timișoara, Romania. Europe's leading conference in the field gathered researchers, practitioners, and students to address the latest developments in human performance and well-being through psychology, in an edition marked by the election of institute researcher and GEPE-UAB member Yago Ramis as the new president of the European Federation of Sport Psychology (FEPSAC).

Scientific participation focused on two main research areas connected to the institute. Within the framework of The Good Game project, two posters were presented: one examining mental health indicators among Spanish-speaking esports players («Mental Health Indicators Among Spanish-Speaking Esports Players»), by Iván Bonilla Gorrindo, Adrián Díaz Moreno, Judith Amorós Robles, Raquel Muñoz Martínez, Jolan Kegelaers, and Andrés Chamarro Lusar; and a second addressing gaming behavior links («Esports: Associations With Internet Gaming Disorder»), conducted by Adrián Díaz Moreno, Iván Bonilla Gorrindo, Samuel Jurado Zapata, and Andrés Chamarro Lusar.

Additionally, researchers from the Sport Psychology Research Group (GEPE-UAB) participated in several international symposia: Marta Borrueco contributed to two symposia focused on positive youth development and navigating women's professional pathways in sport; Maximiliano Devoto participated in the panel dedicated to promoting mental health in elite performance from a multidisciplinary and organizational perspective; and Yago Ramis took part in the session on interpersonal violence in sport as a systemic issue.
