The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) is one of Spain’s leading public universities, internationally recognised for academic excellence, research, and global engagement.

Study Abroad UAB programmes are developed and managed by the Fundació Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (FUAB). The FUAB is an instrumental entity of the UAB, established to collaborate in the promotion and development of teaching, research and social action activities. It also collaborates in the provision of commercial and asset management services related to the University’s activities, serving both the university community and society as a whole through the coordination of different organisations and services.

Designed specifically for international students, the programmes offer flexible study opportunities in Barcelona, ranging from short-term and customised courses to semester-long and academic year-long options.

The programmes are delivered at the UAB Barcelona campus, located in the city of Barcelona. Casa Convalescència, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, serves as the campus for Study Abroad UAB and provides students with a unique international learning environment in one of Europe’s most vibrant cultural capitals.
