The UAB and the UAB-CIE member institutions will commemorate the 10th anniversary of the European Research Council on Thursday 30 March at 11 a.m., at the Centre for Research in Agricultural Genomics (CRAG). The meeting will unite researchers who have received funding from this European programme in the past 10 years.
On 21 March, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities will host a conference with indigenous representative Ládio Veron, who will talk on the reality and problems of the Gaurani-Kaiowá communities, affected by the policies of the current Brazilian government.

The palaeontologist and co-director of the digs at Atapuerca gave the conference “Game of Thrones in the Pleistecene” on 23 February at the Faculty of Biosciences, as part of its 10th anniversary celebration. The hall was filled with people attending the two-hour conference.
Six UAB research projects will receive a total of €576,056 of the 1.6M Euros the RecerCaixa programme awards to promote scientific research of excellence in Catalonia in the fields of social sciences and health.
